AGRITEX Energy SA in its reengineering process decided to work with DKG Consulting’s Ltd executives for the 2012-2013 crop season.

The cooperation of the two companies will be based on DKG’s Total Greenhouse Management approach in various issues such as Crop planning, Crop Monitoring, Hydroponic Management, Integrated Plant Protection, Tem Building, Problem Solving and Crisis Management.

“I would like to welcome back DKG’s people and especially Christos who knows our business since the inception and we do believe on his significant contribution in the reorganization process we have initiated this year” said Mr. Vasilly Haitas, CEO of Agritex.

“AGRITEX SA is the benchmarking company on Branded Greenhouse Hydroponic Vegetables such as “Lucia Premium Greek Tomatoes” in Greece and we will give our fullest to help the people of the company to achieve their goals” said Mr. Christos D. Katsanos, Executive Director of DKG who will be in charge in this project.

AGRITEX and DKG have already collaborated over the 2006 – 2009 period.

AGRITEX Energy S.A. (established in 2006) is an agricultural high-tech company which utilizes the technology of electrical & thermal energy co-production from natural gas.

The facilities of the company are located in Alexandria Imathia, Central Macedonia, Greece and consist of:

– a 10 Ha full-automatic glasshouse for hydroponic cluster tomatoes production (LUCIA Premium Greek Tomatoes)
– a combined heating power unit, of an 4.8MW electrical & 6MW thermal energy output

The goal of the company is to produce vegetables of excellent quality and high nutritional value, using modern technology and environmental friendly growing methods, so as to fully satisfy the requirements of the consumers.
