In the face of two of the most destructive weather phenomena to hit the Karditsa region—Ianos in 2020 and Daniel in 2023—we were called to act as the on-site technical experts for the German insurance leader, Gartenbau-Versicherung.

As specialists in agricultural and greenhouse insurance, Gartenbau entrusted us at DKG Consulting with the critical task of damage assessment and loss adjusting for their clients’ high-tech greenhouse infrastructures. During both interventions, our role was to provide precise technical evaluations, quantify the impact on specialized equipment, and bridge the gap between international insurance standards and local horticultural reality.

Navigating the aftermath of these two “medicane” events allowed us to apply our deep expertise in protected cropping under the most demanding conditions, ensuring that resilience and professional accuracy remained at the forefront of the recovery process.
